From 12pm today (11th August) until Monday afternoon (14th August), our computer systems will be down. This is to combine our computer systems with the former Dr Neilson & McGonagle practice.
We will be holding emergency surgeries only during this time. After 12pm today we will be unable to access your medical records or issue routine prescriptions. Our online booking services and text message reminders will also be unavailable during this time.
We ask that you only contact us if your enquiry is urgent. If you do find yourself short of essential medication during this time, please do contact us or approach your pharmacy who may be able to give you an emergency supply.
We thank you again for your support during our downtime and apologise for any delays and incovenience this may cause.
August 11th, 2017
We would like to welcome patients from the former Dr Neilson & Dr McGonagle practice.
Over the next few weeks both sites will be busy merging records.
During this period we will require some IT downtime falling over the 11th & 14th of August. Just like when our servers were updated, we will be running emergency surgeries and emergency prescription requests only over those 2 days.
We will keep you informed here re the downtime as well as via email & text updates.
We appreciate your support during this time to allow for these changes to take place.

Patient Focus Group Suggestions Box
You may have received a text message from us letting you know about our suggestion box at reception.
This suggestion box is reviewed and discussed by our Patient Focus Group who of course like you, are patients at Levenside practice.
It is a place for you to offer your suggestions on how you feel we could improve our services.
We understand that getting to the surgery isn’t always easy, so if you would like to add to the suggestions box via online, you can use our Contact Form addressing your message to ‘PATIENT FOCUS GROUP’.

Essential Maintenance Complete
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst our systems were down on Thursday & Friday of last week.
Our server upgrade is complete and normal service has resumed!
June 26th, 2017
During Thursday & Friday of this week (22nd & 23rd of June) our computer systems will be down. We will have no access to our clinical system, which means we won’t be able to access our appointment book, your medical records or have the ability to print repeat prescriptions. Our online facilities will also be offline.

Changes to the way you order online prescriptions
We all want more reliable and convenient services in our day to day lives.
That’s why moving forward from the 1st of August, we will be streamlining our online services to using ‘Patient Access’ as our one stop shop for ordering your prescriptions and booking your appointments online. We will be removing the online prescription form option due to NHS mail at times blocking messages from our inbox.
Patient Access allows you to book your GP, Health Care Assistant and Nurse Minor Illness appointments online. You can also check and cancel your booked appointments with us and check the progress of any repeat prescriptions requested. When ordering your prescription, all your repeat medication will be listed. All you have to do is tick the items you require then submit your request to us. There is also a free text box if you require something that isn’t listed.
Patient Access requires you to obtain a pin number from us in person so you may set up your account. Once you have this you are good to go. There is also a handy app so that you may access these facilities on your mobile phone.
Next time you are in the area, pop into reception and request your Patient Access pin.
We think it’s great that you already use our online services & thank you for joining us in our online journey!
